Printer never prints the job
1. Make sure that the printer is running by printing a configuration page. See
Printing the Printer Configuration Page on page 24. Check the settings
for TIMEOUT and PERSONALTY for possible problems. See the
appropriate menu for information about the settings for your attachment:
v Network Menu on page 102
v Parallel Menu on page 101
v Coaxial Setup Menu on page 118
v Twinax Setup Menu on page 121
2. Make sure your printer driver is installed and is connected to the correct
port.
3. If the Face-up Output Bin tray is open, close it. Do not print duplex
(two-sided) print jobs when the Face-up Output Bin is open. The Face-up
Output Bin supports simplex (one-sided) jobs only. Sending a duplex job
when the Face-up Output Bin is open causes all jobs to stop printing.
4. For parallel printing, verify the connection by copying a text file (such as
config.sys) to that port. If this file prints successfully, suspect a driver
problem.
