- I got asm.code working for the 1khz square wave frequency when I write the asm code again but for 2khz I find that it will not switch back to 1khz if I put 2khz in the asm code it works but will not switch back to 1khz I am using a pic16f84a chip and a 4mhz xtal . I am having a problem trying to get the frequency to switch every second from one frequency to the other and I am using one output port pin only is there anyone can help me with the switching problem .
