The Future belongs to the butterflies

Ecologists predict that our current levels of population growth, consumption, resource use, and environmental impact will result in one big global environmental crisis within the next 50 years or so. While some people are predicting the worst, or doing their best to reduce their impact, others are blithely ignoring -- or covering up -- potential problems.

Free Thought

... for

free

thinkers

You that never done nothing, but to build and destroy

You play with my world, like it's your little toy

You put a drug in my head, then you hide from my eyes

And you turn and run, following the fast foolish lie

~ Masters of War; Bob Dylan ~

Points to Ponder

Quality is more important than quantity.

Happiness multiplies as we divide it with others.

Enjoyment of today is denied to those who take anxious thoughts for tomorrow.

quill.jpg (25283 bytes)Personal Note

Hours, days, years. A lot of time I have wasted. Some of it has been taken from me; some I have lost by chasing after the wrong rabbit.  The most waste has resulted from a lack of real, positive direction. How can it be otherwise when my whole world is adrift with no captain at the helm?

What had me fooled was how our society kept moving onward and at breakneck speed as if we knew what we were doing. Then my life wrecked and I joined the others getting swept along in the roily waters like floating pieces of debris.

When I finally did pick up the right trail, there was something wrong--me. This fish out of H2O finds the going extremely hard, traveling back to the future. Yet, in the end, only this way will prove to bring true happiness.

I hope that we will meet along the path.
