You would need to use VERY low baud rate serial (see I/O then RS232 in the main FAQ page) with an RC network or debounce routine to compensate for the noise, or try a low power RF system (I/O, RF) which would transmit the signal through the gaps.'

As a model railroad I want to send data from a PIC over the 0-12vdc tracks to another on board mounted PIC decoder to drive some leds on and off.<BR>
