Why not split the "PICList" into multiple mailing lists (i.e. pic@piclist.org, avr@piclist.org, ee@piclist.org, etc...)?

does anyone know how to build or have schematics for cdi for a single cylinder two stroke motocrosser nameley a suzuki rm465 or a simple diagram? the suzook has two coils on the stator and an earth wire(black) and a red wire from bottom coil and a white wire from top coil and no sender so i suppose one coil is high voltage for spark and the other coil low voltage for the time for it to spark. i'd like to find out please send an email to Terry@artiss.fsnet.co.uk' ON 20030608@4:39:25 PM at page: http://www.piclist.org/techref/piclist/questions.htm JMN-EFP-786 James Newton Replied to post 37778.8183796296 |Insert 'Mostly because we don't own the mailing list server (MIT is kind enough to host the list and pay for the bandwidth) and so can not ask for more than one list. I'm using PIC 16f877 for monitoring three phases of 110V from a CNC machine and to activate the relays whenever the voltages violate the tolerance limits. But, the controller samples the voltage fine whenever the main contactor of the machine isoff. as soon as the main contactor goes on the controller reads a voltage which has dropped by almost 80V even though a 110v input is coming. Can anyone tell me why the controller is behaving so eratically? does it have anything to do with the magnetic feirld created by the contactor due to EMI. are there any remidies to this.' Most of the do it yourself programmers say they support 16f84. I wanted to know wether they support 16f84A because i constructed one and the voltage levels are correct but the IC prog software is not programming and verifying the PIC. Also whats the differnce in the 'A' series' ON 20030608@5:02:44 PM at page: http://www.piclist.com/techref/piclist/begin.htm JMN-EFP-786 James Newton edited the page. Could you please suggest me a simple serial port programmer circuit and corresponding software for 16f84A with which I can read and verify data once written.

I'am doing a robotic project. And i need to use 16f877 to generate PWM ( pulse width modulation ) so that can control the motor. May ANYONE give me ideas or codes to solve it as i really new for this kind of programming. Thanks a lot.'
