|Insert 'The battery symbol and signs are both correct. The end of the physical battery which has a nipple is the positive and that is shown in the symbol as the short line. Correcting the power the other way 'round will let the magic smoke out of the PIC so it will need to be replaced. I recommend checking the power with a multi-meter before hooking it up again.' at: '<!-- 39650.8861458333 EOR -->'
