In response to "Installing procedures for using Microsoft's Mswinsock", I found all i needed to do was enter the registry key manually, creating a new key, and giving it a value. I was rather leary of putting in an inferior mswinsck that was from 1998, when mine was from 2000. My version of mswinsck.ocx is 6.00.8988. I did infact go through the registration of the control, by means of regsvr32. I hope this helps programmers, and like, assist in making it easier.
