Drivers. As of 2012/05/01 the Windows 7 drivers appear buggy, but more or less working. Starting and stopping audio causes the computer to freeze for several seconds.

If your supply voltage is more than +12V, or if you are drawing more than a few hundred milli Amps, you should probably add a heatsink (it doesn't take a big one) as the 7805 may get hot and shut down. If your only source of power is more than 12 volts, you can augment this kit by replacing the 7805 with a switching regulator like the Murata OKI-78SR-5/1.5-W36-C^ which can take up to 36 volts and still provide 1.5 amps at 5volts.

Hi
I made the linistepper V2 a I'm testing with two different stepper motors ( EX: 55SPM25D)and the motors gets very hot. I'm using 12V and only two resistor 1Ohm 5W to GND. this behaviour (hot temperature) normal or I'm doing something wrong?

If the step signal is active high, how long must the high pulse be to be recognized? I want to generate synchronized ramps by another PIC and the point in code where I generate the "step" should be very short.
