i would like to know how to write a program that use pic18f242 to display word in 4x20 lcd display.i would like to know the steps that we have to concern when we display something to the lcd. for an instant,should we write the words into the display ram of the lcd then only display out to the display screen?Is that lcd has it own ram memory? and was it the addresses of the ram are defined by user anywhere they like or it got its own range of addresses?<!-- 38413.739375 EOR -->
