Excellent!  Thank you for this explanation of binary multiplication.  I am just a beginner with assembly programming and this helped me greatly.  To help me remember I wrote some fully commented code for an 8 x 8 bit unsigned multiplier. I'd be happy to share it with anyone once I figure out how to place it on this site.  It is very similar to what is already here.
