teecee-cbn- Questions:
Hi
I am interested in paying for either the service's of a company that you could recommend to write a program in Assembler.
the device either a 16f877 or 876 could be sufficient here.
The project is a Engine Monitoring System for Diesel engines.
I would like the ability to add and remove Optional feature's from the program file myself for example 1 of the 2 Temp's or and to set some trigger's like the upper and lower settings for the Temperature and Oil Pressure, and to be able to scale the output that is displayed as some sensors are calibrated to a different range.
Features:
# 40 x 4 LCD
# Tacho (approx 10 RPM resolution, Inductive pickup from flywheel, need to set Pulse's per rev )
# Hour meter 0-99999Hrs ( non Volatile )
# Voltmeter 30V precision at 1/10th volt (scaled from a RD network )
# A Differential Temp reading from the 2 temp inputs from the engine (Optional )
# % slip for a transmission ( need to know Transmission Ratio, eg 3:1 ) Inductive pickup from gear tooth (optional)
# 1 Output to activate a shutdown solenoid upon a fault eg low oil press or High water temp & low water level,
# Up and Down arrows to scroll through the display, The main screen should display RPM, Water Temp, Oil Press, Volts, if this should not all fit on the display at the same time.
# Audible Alarm output. (Peizo Buzzer)
Sensor inputs 0 to 5 Volts - Temp 1*C & Press 1 PSI Resolution
# 2 Temperature inputs up to 125*C ( Eng ) (Optional )
# 2 Oil Temperature Sensor's up to 150*C ( Eng & Trans) (Optional )
# 1 Pressure Sensor up to 150 PSI ( Eng )
# 1 pressure sensor up to 400 PSI ( Trans ) (Optional )
# High value trigger for a high temp condition, eg 100*C sets the alarm on or a shut down etc
# Low value trigger for a Low Oil Pressure condition, eg 10psi sets the alarm or a shut down etc
# 2 low level Coolant sensor's inputs ( AC sensing type to eliminate electrolysis, MC14093B Quad 2 input NAND Schmitt trigger switched via a BC557) (Optional )
# Exhaust Gas Temp 0 to 800*C , PT100 .... (Optional )
# Low oil level warning /float switch on off type ... (Optional )
I hope that this is not to lacking in a basic overveiw here.
If you can help out here with an approximate ball park $ value and a time I would appreciate your input or any suggestions.
Best Regards
Thomas
