Hello, I am somewhat new to PICs and have a newbie type question. I have a PIC16C72A with a program in it, the code is not protected but when I copy the program and then attempt to program another of the same PICs or the PIC16F72 nothing works. I know that an "include" file must be downloaded but am not sure how to add that to the machine code I get when I copy the program from the existing PIC. Any help will be appreciated. I hate to re-invent the wheel on this one when I have been provided a working chip which has no code protection with it. At least that is what I was told by the supplier and when I read it with my Microenginnering labs USB or Parallel EPIC programmer it also shows protection to be off.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
