Is it possible to send character commands directly to the printer instead of using fonts? I can create PCL fonts of any character. I would like to test some unicode characters as follows: Create a standard 128 character font. Place bitmaps of Unicode characters in each character. Before printing, I would like to parse a text file and output each character definition directly to the printer. In effect I am substituting the font mechanism in the print stream. Can you advise exactly hoe character definitions are sent to the printer?<BR>

      is the first time we've tried printing at the new facility, though, so I'm
      having trouble figuring out what is different.<BR>

<LI>First, any logo in PCL is going to be binary data, and if you try to edit it with a non-binary editor, it will be garbled.

<LI>Second, ImageMagick is putting out a complete PCL print page, which includes page setup commands which will conflict with the page setup in your other file.

<LI>Finally, ImageMagick uses a format of PCL picture data that can not be moved, and does not integrate well with printed data.
