Test Title: Warfighter Information Network – Tactical (WIN-T), 2006-DT-EPG-WINTX-D1780
Project Description: WIN-T will be the integrating communications network for the Future Force (FF), optimized for offensive and joint operations. It will be a framework, which will utilize common standards and protocols for FF Info spheres and interface with and/or replace equipment in the legacy and interim forces.
WIN-T is the FF high-speed and high-capacity backbone communications network. It will be focused on moving information in a manner that supports commanders, staffs, functional units, and capabilities-based formations – all mobile, agile, lethal, sustainable, and deployable.
EPG will monitor Contractor testing and conduct a field test.
