I am using the PIC16F877, VS1001K decoder, and Sandisk 16mb multimedia
card to create a MP3 player.  Does the SDCC C complier work with this
particular Pic? Has anyone used multimedia card in there design?  How
did you implementment?
 
I have a more specific question. I was reading over the possible file
formats for the MMC. We were interested in trying to implement Hard
Disk-like File System with Partition Table.  How would we go about
this.  Where would we create this table and in what file format would
it be saved in?  Also if we were using the USB card connector for the
MMC, could we simply send this file to the MMC using this card
connector?  I know these questions may seem trivial, but if you could
please elaborate so I can understand. If you could please describe
this
step by step process in detail.  I really appreciate your help and
want
to thank you for taking this time to help us.  I am looking forward to
