Hi all, I've just built some Linisteppers (thanks & kudos to Roman and James) and thought it would be useful to clarify a couple of things.
1: The precompiled hex called lini_01.hex works fine when burned into a 16F628A although its meant for a 16F628.
1a: Modern PIC 16F628A dont have a speed rating so any will work, only the older types had a rating ie -04 etc.
2: The Patricio Oholeguy version of Posix PCB design works with no problems except that the motor connections are close to the heatsink. The V2 properly made PCBs are clearly much better but if you're time rich and money poor this version is single sided with only 4 wire links.
3: If you hate the hissing squeal of chopper drives you'll love this one; absolute silence.
