I am trying to update a 1995 sherline mill controller for my classroom.  The current controller is proprietary.  It uses 3amp 7 pin Nema23 steppers.  Will these work and how do I interface these to the computer?  Can you tell me about spindle speed control.  Please go easy, I am a novice.  Thanks to all who can help.<BR>
