There is apparently a bot net of some sort that is monitoring this page. I get large number of accesses from the exact same user agent:
Mozilla/4.0+(compatible;+MSIE+6.0;+Windows+NT+5.1;+SV1;+.NET+CLR+1.1.4322)
with no refered from page and no subsequent requests for the .js and .gif files that are a part of every page. The IP addresses making the request vary widely but are often listed as exploited or spam sources. A single IP address will request this one page and no other from the site on a once, twice or more daily basis. I get about 1400 such bot requests per DAY for this relativly uninteresting page when the next most popular page on the site (the piclist archive) gets about 1200 hits per day. Over all the site gets about 2.1 million hits per month or 70 thousands hits per day but that is spread thin over a large number of pages.

I have made the requests for this one page accessible to everyone via my little home brew log viewer so that if others wish to investigate this they can see the requests: /showall.asp?ip=/techref/intel/x86/inst/enter.htm Click the < or > around the date and time in the upper right corner to show the previous or next day. Click on an IP address to see all accesses to any page on the server from that IP address for the day, and from that page, click the IP address in the upper right corner to see a page of information about that address.
