Editing the Sample .Idq File

Next you have to change the scope to point to the documents on your Web site.

To edit the scope of a search
  1. In the Inetpub\IisSamples\IsSamples directory, open Sample.idq in your text editor.
  2. Change the scope to point to your site directory. For example, if you have given your site the name Mysite, edit the scope as follows:

    3. CiScope=/Mysite

    Or you could set a multiple scope to search the contents of several directories:
    CiScope=/Mysite1,/Mysite2,/Mysite3

  3. Save Sample.idq, and close the text editor.
