Root section (Main Desktop)

The screen of the root section contains icons of all main subsections and applications. The root section boots right after the device is turned on. The root section is intended for navigating by the end-user in the main subsections. The subsections icons and applications are icons of size 48 x 47. The signatures under the icons show the current subsection's icon name or the current application's name. The active icon is the icon with a shadow. Above the set of icons is the inscription "Main Desktop" with alignment in the center. In the left lower corner under the set of icons there is an indicator appearing as smiling human muzzles. It shows the number of people who are participating at the present time. The device starts to react when the number of participants increases. It appears either as a vibration or as a sound (depending on what has been selected in the system parameters). The indicator of the time in "a.m." or "p.m." modes is located at the center under the set of icons. The Power Saver indicator is located in the right lower corner under the set of icons. It shows the level of charge. Also the indicator denoting whether the speaker is in the speaking or non-speaking mode is located in the right lower corner under the set of icons. It depends on what sound has been selected in the system parameters. Note that the human muzzle indicators, hours, Power Saver and the speaker are saved at the site of transition from "Main Desktop" to such subsections as "Application" and "Games." All set indicators disappear upon the loading of such applications as "You and Me," "Chat," "People," and "Settings." In the initial state the first icon is active (the icon at the center of the screen). The icon name is centered underneath the icon.

The keyboard layout of operation using the "Main Desktop" only is as follows:
