Thanks for nutting that out for me. Much appreciated. The GOLD and SILVER threw me. For completeness, and for future readers, the model as per the label is KD-60X6700E, however, it reports itself to a Win7 box as KDL-32W700B. Day 2 and it is still running fine with 2 x large ceramic (10watt?) 1 ohm resistors in series. Time will tell if it continues to power on ok.
