Hi Peter,

your colour decoding seems to make sense.  Thanks for nutting that out for
me.  Much appreciated.  The GOLD and SILVER threw me.

For completeness, and for future readers, the model as per the label is
KD-60X6700E, however, it reports itself to a Win7 box as  KDL-32W700B.

Day 2 and it is still running fine with 2 x large ceramic (10watt?) 1 ohm
resistors in series.  Time will tell if it continues to power on ok.
