I plan to use three paralleled 20mm 3= 60V MOVs(20D361K). By my cocktail napkin calculations, they should have no = problem with the energy that they receive. It should not be a regularly occ= uring phenomena, I'm just naturally careful. I don't know what the welder u= ses for output rectifiers. They are fast recovery, not Schottky, but I don'= t know the voltage rating. I'm assuming they are at least 400V.
