For instance: If I answer a phone call on one of the extensions (or on an aftermarket phone hooked to the rj45 connector), the audio IS NOT available to the other extensions connected to the OOMA box. The consumer (non-commercial) service phones they offer DO NOT have audio available that can be tapped into with a connector. So, the HD2 and HD3 phones would require dissection and electrical mods to retrieve the audio streams. It is a different situation for their business phone models, but they are horribly expensive to buy and the commercial service rates are far beyond what an individual household would pay::> I was looking at the OOMA box though, but the chips inside have house numbers so finding the audio in/out to/from the A to D converters is easier said than done::> Maybe I missed something though...hence my message to the list.
