From what I have read I can expect a shield transfer impedance 0.1 to 0.01 ohms/meter. If a 1 amp current is induced in the shield due to EMI I can expect somewhere between 10mv and 100mv to be induced on the wires within the bundle (when the wires are open circuit). Here is my question: how does one estimate the current that will flow when the wires are not open circuit?
