Learning is part of the journey they say. Hard to say what might have helpe=
d were it=20
learned/understood sooner. A few things to add to the list...

- Why variable resistors have 3 wires vs fixed resistors have 2

- Order of components in parallel on PCB not identical to order on schemati=
c, why=20
and when it does/doesn't matter.

- Scope trace vertical lines are weak or invisible (CRT)

- Concept of amplification/gain, and why it doesn't mean free energy

- Appreciation for orders of magnitude of numbers, engineering units, when =
and=20
where to round off and by how much.

- Appreciation of compromise, design trade-offs, opposing requirements, mut=
ual=20
exclusivity, etc. E.g. amplifier can have low cross-over distortion, or it =
can have low=20
bias current.

- Debbbbbbouncing

- Software state machine

- Two times table, up to at least 2^16

- Integer maths (e.g. x0.666 =3D x171/256 =3D x171 >> 8)

- How to type

- How to type concisely & meaningfully (still working on that)

- Designing for manufacture

- Design for low repair/return rate
