Indeed. And the other chart seemed to be for 12/24 volt systems, it specifi=
es 10% loss for 10A with a 50ft circuit using #12 wire. Assuming by "circui=
t length" they are implying 100ft total wire length, that's only about a vo=
lt and a half loss. But it does say that your boat may have different chara=
cteristics :)

A lot of the charts seem to start with house wiring gauges and go heavier g=
