I'm pleased to see that Prof Goodenough (now aged 97 and still 'goes in to work' every day) was recognised. And as the oldest every Nobel laureate at 97 he may hold that position fora very long time, as they are not awarded posthumously. Hopefully he'll live long enough to deliver us the 3rd round of lithium batteries that he's been working on. (If that sounds a selfish hope - you can be sure that he shares it :-) ).
