This shouldn't be too hard for a fixed ce= ntre frequency item. If needed a button to "Find Centre Frequency" could be= fitted if the CF is likely to be off screen, and could then be annotated o= n screen once found. Personally I would start with a dual core DSPic, one core doing the FFT, th= e other dealing with the display and miscellaneous other HMI details.
