Hi David, I did a bit of testing on the 16F876, long time ago, now working from memor= y. The TTL inputs were consistent and quite predictable, but the ST inputs = varied from pin-to-pin and could not be relied upon. Not just the amount of= hysteresis, but it wasn't balanced around 1/2 Vcc. Did not do tests over t= emperature. Don't know how that relates to the 16F87/88 but I would not tru= st the thresholds at all on ST inputs. Friendly regards, Bob ________________________________________ From: piclist-bounces@mit.edu on behalf of David = C Brown=20 Sent: Friday, August 9, 2019 7:22 AM To: Microcontroller discussion list - Public. Subject: [PIC} Schmitt inputs on mid range \pics Some of the inputs such as RB0 on the 16F87/8 can be configured as STs. but the data sheet is not very explicit about their behaviour. Before I start doing experiments, does any body have any experience with these, particularly the degree of hysteresis? __________________________________________ *Sent from my etch-a-sketch* -- http://www.piclist.com/techref/piclist PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist --=20 http://www.piclist.com/techref/piclist PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
