If you are considering dumping the lot then pulling apart one to see if you can improve the alleged bad arms seems worth a try. You may want to wear a mask and hazmat suit or no clothes :-). "Up to his elbows in toner" may get real. Presumably somewhere there are "how to dismantle an xxx cartridge guides. 2. Try printing 20 - 50 pages the same (or a manual you've always wanted to print), full cover. Allen's suggestion may work. 3. Know / can find anyone with an identical printer that works. Try a cartridge of yours on theirs (MUST fail, right?) Try their cartridge on your printer - if it works, what date is it? Try ... 4.
