Hello PICList,

I have searched the internet and have had a hard time finding any
information on the rate of growth of oxides (and other non conductive
or semiconducting thin/thick films) on gold contacts under "normal
atmospheric conditions". This is directly related to my gold contact
wetting current question. I am trying to estimate how long it would
take for a set of gold contacts to stop working without any sort of
wetting.

Can anybody point me to some publications the describe this? Even
links to pay walled papers would be appreciated.
