Unlikely unlikely, but ...:

Any ideal components with inductive reactance?
Long ago I saw simulations go inexplicably insane due to this. Perhaps due
to divide by zero's / infinities.

Similar to inexplicable behaviours when you inject current via
microcontroller body diodes :-)
