That confirms that the 5 LEDs are in parallel. 20 mA/LED is a common max rating (but certainly not universal). The filament is then taking 308 mW and producing probably 30 - 45 lumen. How many filaments in the whole lamp. 4 in image ? That would be only 1.2W at 100 mA. And not much more than 4 or 5 Watts based on your 'smoke test'. Is a lumen rating stated? __________________ 2. WH's are never false, per se, just never optimum :-). (Scientific method :-) ). I'm aware that my core beliefs are "questionable" to others. That's acceptable. I HOPE that they are such as to go a fair way towards optimising outcomes for most people I encounter. Inasmuch as 'beliefs' reflect 'facts' (whatever they are) one is not free to fine tune core beliefs to attempt to optimise perceived outcomes, but, if ones finds that the apparent facts on which core beliefs are based seem to have been preoptimised for perceived outcomes then, so much the better :-).
