Google has a speech to text system. See https://cloud.google.com/speech-to-text/ . It appears they want to sell you the service, but you can try it for free. I'm guessing they developed this because they need it to meet the closed caption requirements for You Tube. Also, having text makes video and audio searchable. Good luck and a speedy recovery!
