I am typing this on kbd with arm suitable supported BUT minimisation of motion may well improve quality of finished healing.) *- I would like to obtain dictation software.* *- Comments and suggestions sought.* *Are the free Google or Microsoft products good enough as per below requirement. * *________________________* I want something that works "well enough" for everyday use with - some errors OK. fewer better. Post editing OK. - natural speech rate. (ie MUST NOT be a painful process) - voice controlled editing a bonus. - PC control a bonus, not essential. - Free is good. Under $100 bearable. Over $100 - there needs to be a good reason. - Interface to a free or common program - wider interface nice. I have not tried anything yet. As that was one of 3 from rubbish at CLF I was not totally averse but ... When he got to camera and possibility of fighting I lost interest. I declined and walked off. He grabbed backpack and camera strap - they were well enough attached :-). I turned to 'get in his face' - a mistake and a lesson learned. I did not touch him or abuse him. Next - unclear - may have been an IMMENSE shove or maybe a punch. I spun as I fell. Immediately behind me was a thin metal pole with a parking sign thereon. Falling I hit pole on shoulder just outside head line (fortunately) End result: Broken clavicle, very well gravel rashed knees, broken right bit toe. Alas the camera failed to fire up - battery may have been 'popped' out of contact by impact. Several witnesses. Youngsters exit stage somewhere. Police, Ambulance, Hospital. Home. Ouch. __________________ *OPTIONS?:* I am impressed with the accuracy of searching using Google voice recognition on Android cellphone - but not with the response time. *Google DOCs* voice typing sounds good. Free, accuracy and speed said to be good. Voice editing. ONLY works with Google Docs & Chrome =3D acceptable. *Windows Speech Recognition.* I do not use Cortana. Could happen. Free. Works with Word and some other programs. Acceptable. *Dragon Naturally Speaking*. v13 or 12 or ... Prices highly variable for same apparent product. NZ sold ones seem to be substantially higher priced again.
