Collimated, focused, or bare diodes? How many do you need? Are unknown sourced doides ok. or do you need diodes = with traceable manufacturers with detailed specs I do laser comm as a hobby, free space. I have some very old IR diodes from Philips, bare diodes on small driver bo= ards that I have no use for and there's no way to get info on the drivers. = There are maybe 20 of them. I have no need for them and the resale value is= very low::> Regards, Art On 09/05/2018 11:52 AM, David Van Horn wrote: > I just looked on Digikey for Laser diodes, and the least expensive I coul= d find, was about $5 in Q 50,000! > > Where can I source small, very inexpensive visible laser diodes? 1 to 5 = mW would be fine.
