I have an application where I'd like to have a device know if it is in
this room or that room. I'm thinking of putting a BLE beacon in each room
and use RSSI to figure out which one the receiver is closer to. It SEEMS
like there would be a standard device about the size of a large coin cell
that would transmit its ID every now and then (once every minute or two
would work for this application) and have a battery life of about 10
years.

Anyone familiar with such a device?
