Four seat cabin with a rear door cargo compartment. Between the door and the rear seat, at hip height, an air tube to extract cabin air, is routed by fan to the NiMH traction battery, and then routed to the lead-acid starting battery, before being dumped into the rear compartment. Fan runs hard on a significant retardation of throttle or start of braking, and brings any cargo compartment odours into the cabin. The lead-acid battery has a gas venting tube to outside air, because it is effectively in the cabin. --=20 James Cameron http://quozl.netrek.org/ --=20 http://www.piclist.com/techref/piclist PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
