Thanks Sean, I think that you have answered my question and confirmed from experience that my inclination towards a 1Hz rate is sensible. I want to be able to charge cells ranging from 750mAH to 2.5AH at C/10 and to trickle them at C/50 which gives charge rates of 250mA down to 15mA. I can't see the point of fast charging - even if that were practical in the field - when it is easy to carry a few spare cells. It is not as if they were particularly expensive. Similarly I don't think it worth the trouble of using complex algorithms and multiple sensors to enhance the battery life slightly. __________________________________________ David C Brown 43 Bings Road Whaley Bridge High Peak Phone: 01663 733236 Derbyshire eMail: dcb.home@gmail.com SK23 7ND web: www.bings-knowle.co.uk/dcb *Sent from my etch-a-sketch* On 6 June 2017 at 03:45, 99guspuppet wrote: > I recommend 24 GHz since it is license free world-wide. > Gus in Denver > -- > http://www.piclist.com/techref/piclist PIC/SX FAQ & list archive > View/change your membership options at > http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist > --=20 http://www.piclist.com/techref/piclist PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
