Any manufacturer n= eeding to sell into the EU will still need to CE mark their equipment, and = will still involve conforming to the EN standards. And don't forget that they are also directly classed as British Standards, = and I fully expect that they will not be nullified any time soon as so much= of what they specify will need to be still in place anyway for items marke= ted within the UK and exported to anywhere else outside the EU. I am also involved in evaluating the build of equipment for CE marking, in = my case it is classed as laboratory equipment which needs to meet BS EN 610= 10. I'll make some comments on the OPs original mail when I have read the t= hread. --=20 http://www.piclist.com/techref/piclist PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
