I have a copy of HP's HP9100AB Interfacing Manual which has  some info
in it that may be useful.

If you would like to try a 9100B simulator, there is a free download
at my web site http://www.teenix.org

It also has interfaces for the paper card reader, plotter, printer and
expanded memory unit.
