Hello, I am searching for literature outlining the design procedure for creating passive RC filters with an arbitrary/less than 20db/decade rolloff (over a small band of frequencies). This is typically done using a piecewise filter as shown in the images in link [1]. My initial googling turned up a thread on stack exchange. However, I found the information presented to be lacking. Why do I want to do this? I may use this technique on an audio project. I am aware that digital filtering would probably be superior for this sort of arbitrary filter (that would be too easy!), but I'd rather learn how to construct the equivalent as an analog circuit. Thanks in advance, Jason White [1] https://electronics.stackexchange.com/questions/200583/is-it-possible-to-ma= ke-a-weak-analog-low-pass-filter-with-less-than-20-db-decade --=20 Jason White --=20 http://www.piclist.com/techref/piclist PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
