Sure, one can resin the PCB (that thus becomes non-repairable should it fail) but the problem exists, is real and is serious. There were some issues with solde= r joints cracking but mostly in Grade 0 rated modules. That issue was resol= ved partly by avoiding larger components, partly by careful design of footp= rints and partly by using different solder compositions . I wouldn't expect= an engine ECU on a quad to have issues, I would expect that to be a grade = 4 component at best. As I said previously the exemption has expired so you = will need to find a solution to any problems you are having.
