I used to live just down the road from Miramar MCAS. The V-22s landed & taxied just like the F-18s. Same deal at the AFBs I worked on, except for the Crash / Rescue helos, for obvious reasons. I've had the interesting experience of standing in for the Flight Engineer in a CH-47 while being talked down by PAR in 0/0 visibility. Never a dull moment in the flying business... ...
