D1 is 704 x 480....really low resolution, relative to what everyone is used= to these days with HD. So the answer is yes, but pretty sure its not off = the shelf. You have to use a double frame buffer setup, where you pull in = the low res video, and then send it out at high res, but your pixels are go= ing to be BIG and blocky no doubt. Since your captured video is in digital= format, another choice is to use a NTSC video card and run it thru an exte= rnal NTSC to HDMI converter box. Either way, I can't imagine the video loo= king very good. You would be better off using a VGA card and running it at= 800x600 and adjust the monitor to fill it. -----Original Message----- From: piclist-bounces@mit.edu [mailto:piclist-bounces@mit.edu] On Behalf Of= Jes=FAs S=E1nchez Sent: Tuesday, March 28, 2017 7:05 AM To: piclist@mit.edu Subject: [EE] D1 resolution video capture card and 1920x1080p resolution on= display wanted I am working on an application for capturing multiple video signals simulta= neously (up to 8 cameras), encoding them in an SBC (Gateworks GW5100) and sending it to a display over Ethernet. The video capture cards of 8 signals that I have found only capture video o= f D1 resolution (not reaching 1920x1080p), as the following cards: - http://www.ampltd.com/mini-pcie/video/avc8000nano.php - http://www.advantech.com/products/video_capture_board/dvp-7641e/mod_906bf26= 0-4974-4400-9423-2e4314c2b374 I need one of the video signals to be of 1920x1080p resolution on the displ= ay. So, if a camera is recording at 1920x1080p resolution, and the video captur= e works only up to D1 resolution, is there any way that I could retrieve th= e 1920x1080p resolution from the camera on the final display? *Jessag* -- http://www.piclist.com/techref/piclist PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/chang= e your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclis= t Western Digital Corporation (and its subsidiaries) E-mail Confidentiality N= otice & Disclaimer: This e-mail and any files transmitted with it may contain confidential or l= egally privileged information of WDC and/or its affiliates, and are intende= d solely for the use of the individual or entity to which they are addresse= d.
