uses a CSD18534 NexFET in an MC34063 step-up for 6V battery to
16V conversion

"Note that the Mosfet is a low gate threshold type that has a low
on-resistance even with a gate voltage of 3V. This is necessary so
the circuit can work down to low supply levels (ie around 4V)"
