Hi Isaac, Someone pointed me to those last night. Yep, I've seen the significant=20 price difference for the original Segger J-Link. I'd have no problem=20 paying for it if I could recover that for a project, but my needs are=20 really just tinkering at this point. There was an amphour episode with the guys from Saleae and I have to=20 sympthize with them a bit because the clones are using their software,=20 which is where a significant portion of their work is. I also have one=20 of their (original) logic analyzers and want another as a backup, but=20 yes it's far more expensive than I think it should be.
