I have an old cue cat barcode scanner, designed for PS2 inputs, but=20
computers today have USB, not PS2 connectors.

I want to use the cue cat on my usb equipped computer. So, I bought an=20
inexpensive PS2 to USB converter, but the cue cat appears to be dead.=20
The red led lights up, so it's getting proper 5V, but no data is being=20
shown on the screen when I scan a barcode.

Should this work, or did I miss something?
