A number of useful comments have been made in reply so far and it seems
like the resultant discussion could be interesting and maybe even usefuil.

However, please note:

Questions like this one can be useful if phrased and considered in terms of
"I wish to detect chemical xxx in food/water/other ...".
Some background of why can be useful but it is very easy to stray into
conspiracy theory / military-industrial complex, unscientific approaches
and more.
These at best belong in OT and are inm any case liable to have a short life=
..

This one is promising - please give it a chance to develop
'scientifically'.
