The WS28xx, or APAxxx LEDs we've not found in small enough packages. =20 The only RGB LEDs we were able to get to fit (in the visible area) are=20 0404 packages. We've got these staggered such that 24 LED's fit in a=20 1.1" x 0.2" strip. We'd jump at the pixel-addressable types if they=20 were available in 0404 packages. Cheers, -Neil.
